Our Journey
Indonique was established in 2002 by George and Daya Constance with the vision of blending the East with the West -
just as the founders have done in their marriage.

Daya, Indian-born and George from America, bring their unique perspectives to the operation that began in New Orleans
with their Web site store and the popular Indonique Tea & Chai Cafe. The business thrived for four years until Hurricane
Katrina hit, forcing the closure of the Magazine Street cafe, the owners' relocation to the north and a restructuring of the
company. We now sell our products online and through select retail outlets, cafes and restaurants.

Our signature tea is a fresh-brewed hot or iced Authentic Indian Masala Chai, a blend of imported spices and South India
black tea with no preservatives or additives. It's a recipe passed down through the generations of Daya's family.

Indonique has secured distribution rights for socially responsible Iced Tea Blends from Assam India. These teas are rich
single malt, single estate teas offered black or in six different unique and tantalizing flavors.

Given our own experiences with Katrina, we donate 10 percent of all profits from wholesale sales to specific charities
associated with each product Indonique sells. Resellers are encouraged to advertise that each sale will generate these
donations. Promotional material is provided through this Web site for that purpose.
Through us we invite you to Experience the East through all the Senses at Indonique.
