Indonique, Blenders and Purveyors of Premium Whole Leaf Teas, Authentic Indian Masala Chai, Curry Masalas and Indian Spices

Chai Preparation

 

Instructions for preparing 1.9 litres of fresh brewed Indonique Masala Chai in a commercial coffee/tea brewer.

 

Always use a metal steeping basket as paper filters may clog.

 

Hot Chai Recipe:

    Empty entire contents of Indonique Chai blend into steeping basket (recommended) or paper filter (not recommended as some brewers may overflow) for standard coffee brewing apparatus
    Brew approx. 2 liters of water through mixture to make Chai brew
    Steam milk or dairy substitute with sweetener in frothing cup
    Combine dairy and Indonique Chai tea to fill cup and serve

 

Ratio is about half dairy to Indonique Chai brew

 

Iced Chai Recipe

    Repeat steps 1 & 2 above with Indonique Masala Chai mix and refrigerate. Mix with equal amounts of milk or dairy substitute and sweetener. Pour over ice and serve.
